Beginning to look a lot like Christmas....:'(
I haven't posted in awhile because I've been working so hard trying to get my move going forward.
This time of year is hard for me for a couple of reasons. I lost my mom in December 2011 and also because it was my plan to be relocated to Paris in December 2013 and that fell through. Now as I see holiday pictures in Paris being posted and the latest pic of the Galeries Lafayette Christmas tree, I feel melancholic. I continue my journey with hopes that I will soon spend a Christmas in my Paris.

Joyeux anniversaire à moi!!!
On my birthday I'd just like like to provide a brief update on my progress to moving to Paris.
Right now I'm still working on become TESOL certified so that I can find a job teaching English in Paris. I'm still on track and not giving up.
For now...

31 March 2014
In Texas it is 1:03 AM, in Paris 7:03AM. I can't help but imagine awaking to a beautiful day in Paris and long to experience that again in person.
Right now my Plan B is on track. I'm taking classes towards becoming certified to teach English as a Second/Foreign Language and I recently received a promotion and I'm teaching more.
I'm planning to leave for Paris in August 2015, so I have a little over a year to get everything on track. I've been volunteering working with foreign college students who are learning English and I have been thoroughly enjoying that.
I am hoping I can take another trip to Paris before my move as I miss being there.
I'll keep you guys updated.
Mwah!

stay awake so that I can view a live cam to watch the sun rise in
Paris. I wanted to share this sunrise with you....enjoy.

New Year - New Plan
New Years 2014 was bittersweet. I am very grateful to see another year and for myself and my family to all be healthy - that's the sweet. The bitter is that I really hoped to awaken in the new year in Paris.
However, I will not dwell on the negative.
I go into this new year more determined than ever to accomplish my dream of living in Paris. I am not setting any goals or even saying that the move will occur in 2014, only that I will spend this year readying myself for the move.
I don't believe in making New Year resolutions, mainly because people rarely keep them. I will be making plans instead.
2014 Plans:
I hereby declare 2014 as the Year of Me!

2014 Plans:
- Continue studying French
- By improving my French, I improve my chances of finding a job and making a smooth transition when I move
- Job Searching
- TESOL Certification
I hereby declare 2014 as the Year of Me!
